ImmobilienScout24 — Amazon Web Services Engineer (Contract)
ImmobilienScout24 is Germany's largest digital real estate marketplace, used by millions to search for rental and sale properties. The platform connects tenants and buyers with estate agents and landlords, and migrated key infrastructure to Amazon Web Services to improve scale and reliability.
As an Amazon Web Services Engineer on a short-term contract at ImmobilienScout24, I provided consulting and development for their migration to Amazon Web Services (AWS). A central contribution was developing a Python program that acted as a proxy for metadata requests, enabling IAM Role-based credentials so internal VM servers could use the Amazon SDKs without extra configuration.
